So that was a new spam call: Answered the office phone and had someone on the other end ask "Who is this?" Repeated myself. After some confusion we figured out that her phone rang too and we were both connected to each other. Why? To prove that our phone numbers were active?

@Chris_Ashworth Yup. I made the mistake of thinking if I had scheduled an appointment for the DMV, it would be on time and not crowded. When I arrived and the wait was 2.5 hours and if felt like no one was masked, I bailed.
