My mum (left) with activist & WWII sexual slavery survivor, Lee Yong-Soo, four and half yrs ago in Korea. My play, The Apology, that will be on in Sept is inspired by such brave fighters and campaigners like Lee who reject historical revisionism, dare to speak truth to power.

100% less impressed with the @BuxtonOpHouse FoH staff. I had a train to catch in 10 mins and, instead of letting me go out a normal way, FoH ushered me into a hallway that had stairs and I fell down them. As I former usher, I know how wrong this is.

Took my friend to see NOISES OFF for her B’day tonight, the famous Michael Frayn play about a play going disastrously (ignore the imitators! 😉). Guess what happened? A show stop half an hour in, a 30minute wait, then an announcement that it was cancelled. 😂 #LifeImitatingArt

I am writing on a notepad, notes on 5 plays that I'm reading. Lengthy notes in longhand. I have not written anything long in longhand for so long, there is no muscle memory. I have written for so long everything on keyboard, on screen, on touch-type. It's obsolete, this craft.

@wychstreet This makes me really sad. How awkward it feels, just curling my hand around a pen for a sustained period. How clumsily and illegibly I write, as though I've started physical therapy to learn to write all over again.

@kyochoi1 My handwriting was never good - at best 'interesting,' so I'm told - and on the rare occasion I have to write more than a few lines of a card I feel like I might fall off a bike.
