just want to highlight some key analysis from my field as business strategic planning role😆bc watching them (plave&vlast) growing is quite interesting to me
from this graph, you can breakdown PLAVE into 3 phases: Discovery (27k>200k), Breakout (200k>1m) and scale&optimize (1m+ steady growth)
- growth grew sharply from 27.9k > 1.26m implied ~4,200%growth in 3 years = hyper-scaling
- inflection point is between asterum: 133-1 and caligo pt.1 (569k>1.04m sale) this is where the group moved into top-tier sales, likely driven by fandom expansion, viral and stronger distribution/pre-order strategy (my own opinion)
- last 3 albums: 1m sales+ indicates not a one-off spike = consistent top-tier
- tho momentum still positive, but it may be entering maturity phase so now is optimizing at scale rather than exploding (5-15% increase from recent album)
to summarize, it seems plave is from niche to mass-market dominance (so proud🥹👏🏼) with sustained fanbase monetization 😂
