@kyoukochilly345 @ChibiReviews Because to make L2D first you make the art (that's where genAI comes in) and then you separate it in layers to rigg each piece of the art. You don't draw each piece independently.

Holy, I DID NOT EXPECT this type of story from NTE at all. How we came from helping an otter with a TV head find a date to this quest is beyond me. Any way [SPOILER WARNING]
But that story is basically this: A guy who cosplays as a hero and performs for kids accidentally wanders into the aftermath of a gang war. When everything settles, he is still alive, so the surrounding people mistake him for a real hero and start praising him.
Fame, money, and attention come crashing in all at once, inflating his ego. He goes on interviews, acts in movies, and does advertisements. Basically a complete life upgrade.
But what comes must come. Over time, people realize he is only fighting staged targets and harmless anomalies. His fame, merch sales, and attention begin to decline.
To avoid being forgotten and going back to being a nobody, he makes a deal with criminals, lures a child into a gang war zone, and stages a fake rescue scene. The innocent child gets hit by a stray bullet and dies on the spot.
At first, it looks like the hero is crying in guilt, but in reality, he is just acting out the final scene for filming and then leaves the child lying motionless in the rain.
The criminals realize the situation is getting out of control, cut ties with him, and disperse. Right then, the main character appears.
After seeing the main character take down all the criminals alone, the so-called hero immediately changes his tone, from ordering them to kill the main character so no one learns his secret to claiming he was forced into everything. Seeing that the main character shows nothing but contempt, he drops to his knees and begs, even offering to split the money.
In the end, the main character swings his sword and cuts off his head.

Im gonna put my 2 cents on the topic since iv been trying out NTE myself.
Im not really surprised that they are using AI Gen (All the big studios does they just don't tell you to avoid backlash) but way more surprised to the fact that they still haven't communicated about it post release. Knowing how PWG works a little my personal opinion is that it's pure incompetence rather than malicious intent, because there was clearly no way of hiding it and surely they must have known people would be angry.
