Just built a SOLUSDT 1H strategy on @minara Strategy Studio and the results look great at first glance… but also taught me a lot about hidden risk. Strategy idea: A simple mean-reversion short-only setup using Bollinger Bands. •Short when price overextends above the upper band •Exit at fixed Take Profit (~2%) •No Stop Loss (initial version) Parameters: •BB Period: 20 •BB Multiplier: 2.0 •Timeframe: 1H Backtest results: •Total Profit: +93% •Win rate: 100% •Trades: 46 •Max Drawdown: ~38% •Sharpe: 0.96 At first, this looks like a “perfect” strategy… but digging deeper: Some trades had MAE up to -47% before hitting TP. That means price moved heavily against the position before reversing which is extremely risky, especially with leverage. Key takeaway: Win rate alone means nothing. A strategy can show 100% win rate but still be dangerous if: •no Stop Loss •high drawdown inside trades •relies on mean reversion in strong trends What I like about Strategy Studio is how easy it is to spot this: idea → build → backtest → analyze risk Next step for me: •add Stop Loss •test volatility filters •improve risk-adjusted returns instead of chasing win rate If you’re testing strategies, don’t just look at profit look at how it gets there. #MinaraStrategyStudio
