Question for my native English speakers moots. I'm using grammarly to correct grammar mistakes of a fic and omg, maybe it's because it's different in french but it keeps adding a comma after every dialogue. AND I'M CONFUSED. Have I been writing wrong this whole time??? +

@kyumsimp Yup, that's correct for English! There's always a comma used before and after dialogue tags. "I'm sorry," he said. He said, "I'm sorry."

Like "I'm sorry, " he said. Is that the correct way? 😭 No because I never wrote it like that. I would usually just write "Sorry" he said said. Like I would do in french. Someone enlighten me please. @xknivessama you definitely know 🥹
