@Ankit_Quant After my 1st year it was clear that JEE tested FY engineering concepts. Any half decent FY student wouldn't have an issue clearing the exam well.
They still do that, but are far more challenging in the formats.

@kyun Interesting. That only makes cut-offs go higher and increases the chances of luck in your final admit.
When the spread between Rank 1 and Rank 1000 is small, then probably beyond top 100’ranks, there is a lot of luck to it

None of these are pre-requisites to be successful.
Yet all of these greatly reduce the steepness of your path to success.
You can walk on it and still fail, but life and tough situations are more forgiving with such cushions.
