@Joeinblack It's not the furnace room though, I hope. Years ago our cats loved to spend time there because it was warm. Eventually the fur they shed got sucked into the furnace and the whole thing blew. Black oily soot came thru every vent in the house.

So, Lucy and Bob continue their vigil at the top shelf of the storage room. Lucy deigns to step down from her throne when it’s time to eat or when everyone goes to bed. They spend most of the days cuddled up together on the shelf. Bob periodically checks in for belly rubs.
