In #NBA2K26 you can do misdirection BTBs, crosses, tweens and hesis by starting a standing btb, cross, tween, or hesi respectively and then immediately holding Turbo and throwing the right stick in the opposite direction before the first bounce.

Top things we learned from the NBA 2K26 Gameplay Court-side Report - 2k26 has higher game speed - Custom layup packages are in 2k26 - You can green rebounds by timing your jump correctly, to receive a boost to your rebound, to get a better chance at getting the rebound - Rythym shooting is back, they did not mention it giving at green bonus, but you can control how fast or slow your jumpshot is based on your tempo and push timing - There’s a new catch and shoot mechanic, when you hold L2 it lets you get shots off faster on the catch - You can now hold L2 in the middle of a euro step, and activate a slow down euro - Green or miss will be everywhere, but the green window will be bigger in low difficulty modes and smaller in high difficulty modes - There’s a new mechanic called quick protect, to help protect the ball from defenders and it also allows you to put a defender “in jail” by getting him stuck to your hip - There’s now a new way to angle your screens by slightly tapping the left stick - Defense will have more player to player contact - There’s a new motion engine - 2k added signature go-to post shots - You can now throw wrap around passes by double tapping b - There are revamped sig size ups - Alley oops will now pop up a random button between A,B,X & Y, instead of just X, and you will have to click that button and react in time to make it - sliding on defense should be gone
