@MarkJCarney I would think a CUSMA deal with the USA would be the priority. How is chasing UAE Free Trade Agreements “elbows up”? Without a solid USA deal it’s elbows down and wallets out. Carney doesn’t care about Canadians, he cares about Brookfield.

Two months ago, we started negotiating a new free trade agreement with the UAE. Today, we concluded those negotiations. That means lower tariffs, new opportunities for Canadian workers, and better access to the UAE’s $700 billion economy for Canadian businesses.
