Over the past few months of being in Web3, I’ve noticed something very clear. One thing that affects most Web3 newbies — if not almost all — is almost the same mistake: trying to do everything at once. And to be honest, it’s not only newbies. Even some old cargos still fall into this trap. You enter Web3 and immediately want to: learn everything | be everywhere | join Spaces | enter multiple communities | grow accounts and followers | chase visibility | join every Discord | apply for every role | post every day | explore trading | taste degen | yap | make researches | still get good grades | still sleep | still be sane. Trying things out isn’t bad. Curiosity isn’t bad. The problem starts when you’re doing everything and becoming master of none. And that’s where burnout quietly enters. Like I promised, we’ll be looking at possible solutions, because while some people say balancing school and Web3 isn’t possible, some top chads have clearly shown that it is. The first person on this list is @_FinegirlDami. I asked her directly how she handled job hunting, showing up in Spaces, posting consistently, doing airdrops, and still reading to pass exams. Her answer was short, simple, but deep: “It is planning ooo." She didn’t stop there. She explained that if you want to build your social media presence, you need to block out specific hours to create your posts; whether for the week or for a few days. Save them as drafts, and then all you’re doing daily is just posting at the scheduled time. For Apple users, you can even schedule the posts and forget about it, it’ll post itself. On job hunting, she said something that really stuck with me: You don’t need the whole day. One hour is enough; 30 minutes to find projects, 30 minutes to pitch. For airdrops, she emphasized something very real: Do it immediately you see it. Once you bookmark and say “I’ll come back,” trust me… you won’t. And for airdrops that require daily claims, just set reminders for a fixed time every day. Then she talked about Spaces... and this part really stood out. She said you don’t need to be everywhere. Join only the Spaces that actually benefit you. And if you miss a Space, you can always listen to the recordings. She even added that with proper planning, you can still sleep well and still have time to read for exams. Honestly, her explanation struck me; especially the part about creating posts ahead and saving them as drafts. I started applying that in the past few days, and I won’t lie, it’s been helping. What she said about Spaces is also very true. I’ve seen her in some Spaces where I honestly didn’t expect to see her as there's none of her community members, no familiar faces, which just proves that she attends only what’s necessary. And yes, recordings matter. For me, once I miss a Space, that’s usually the end oo 😂 but since that conversation, I’ve been trying to change my approach. And I’ve noticed something: my impressions and engagements are actually growing. One thing that weakens many newbies is posting consistently and seeing almost zero impressions. It’s discouraging, I can relate. But according to @_FinegirlDami, posting quality and meaningful content helps a lot with engagement, something Boss @TeaonaX also mentioned. This conversation made one thing very clear to me: Web3 is not about doing everything. It’s about DOING THE RIGHT THINGS, INTENTIONALLY. I’d really like to know: What stood out to you from this conversation? What did it make you understand? Please stay with me. We’re just getting started🤍
