We have uncovered plans by the ruling APC to disrupt the summit being held by the opposition parties in Ibadan, Oyo State, today, 25th of April.
After denying us the use of venues in Abuja, they now will not leave us alone to hold our meetings.
They say they are not scared, but they are behaving like people who are terrified. But we will not be deterred, because we are on the side of the Nigerian people.

@theabdulgora @umarmaimasara1 @MAUIngagiH I don't have any objection to the unity between the two tribes. However, I only refute the claim that there are no Indigenous Hausa people in the North East .
English

@labo_usman @umarmaimasara1 @MAUIngagiH Brother, your links are only emphasing my points. The unity between these tribes is evident, and there is no predominant hausa LGA in Bauchi or the North East.

Personally I don’t believe in this hyphenated identity. Even though there's no pure tribe or ethnicity, and everyone is a product of different identities, we must believe that people are who they believe they are, even if that's not necessarily who they are. Because “if we were to all shake our ancestral trees, we would be shocked by what falls from them”, as Prof. Kperogi rightly put it.
Same way the Quraish identify only as Arabs through the concept arabization, even though Quraish took its root from Ismail who’s not Arab himself. He basically married from a Jurhum Arab tribe and learnt Arabic to be Arabized. This gave birth to the Adanite Arabs, who produced Quraish, the Arabic of the Quran, and the Prophet himself. Ko kai mahaukacin ƙauye ne baka isa ka ce Annabi SAW ba balarabe bane, toh amma kaga kakanshi larabcewa yayi.
In the same modern context in Nigeria, a Nupe tribe could claim pure Nupe identity, with no hyphenations like Nupe-Gwari or Nupe-Hausa, despite having Fulani, Hausa, Gwari, Igala or Yoruba ancestry.
Ismail AS’ grandchildren never adopt any hyphenated identity like Hebrew-Arab. Because integration into a society makes you a full member of that tribe and community, regardless of your original ancestry. People who are hellbent on imposing a hyphenated name on people simply don’t know or understand history. Mugunta ce a ƙaƙaba ma mutane identity ɗin da basa ko, ko a hana su wanda suke so!

@labo_usman @umarmaimasara1 @MAUIngagiH Name a LGA that is predominantly hausa in the entire North East?
English

@theabdulgora @umarmaimasara1 @MAUIngagiH The architecture is traditional Hausa architecture. And who told that their are no Indigenous Hausa people in Bauchi?

@theabdulgora Kafin Madaki is in Bauchi state. As far as I know, there’s no known link to traditional to traditional Hausa states. An FYI for those “Hausa Zalla” dumb agents.

By 9 am today, I will publish Ideology, Blood, and War: Rethinking the Origins of Boko Haram.
This piece confronts the dominant narrative head-on. It traces the insurgency’s roots through the network around Muhammad Yusuf's family and surfaces details that have been ignored or suppressed. It dissects the ideology and the patterns of violence that fueled mass displacement and large-scale killings across the Lake Chad Basin.
If you want to understand what Boko Haram became, and if you are serious about ending it, you must examine how it was formed.
Read it when it is out.
