Correct ... if you are a lapped car in line among those who did not pit and the leader is now behind you in line because all the leaders in front of you in line pitted, then (as long as you don't pit) you can get the wave-around.

@mearstalgia @tyva90 @horn_conor @DustinAlbino @bobpockrass Hopefully @bobpockrass or someone can confirm for you. The rule is 100% not every lead lap car having to pit for wave around to apply, just lead lap cars between you and pace car.

@bobpockrass I will always find it funny there's so insanely difficult jobs in this sport and then we have a person who can't even always catch a tire rolling right to him

If a tire interferes with someone's pit stop, that would be an uncontrolled tire. If it rolls out (without going to pit wall) and impacts someone going into their pit, likely would be an uncontrolled tire. Typically a judgment call of how far the tire rolls if it not on a rebound

People were fuel saving at the start is what made that work even a couple guys tried to make a 3rd lane at the end but as expected couldn't do anything.

Yesterday was close, but it would’ve been better if somebody tried to make that third lane work at the beginning of the final lap, because I saw Austin Dillon at the beginning of the race make it work
