I got a call to bring the first aid box downstairs because there was an emergency.
I quickly carried it from my office and rushed down.
When I got there, I saw my colleague (a lady) lying down on the table, holding her tummy.
I dropped the first aid box and asked, “What is wrong with her? What happened? Did she hit her leg or something?”
They said she hadn’t said anything, she just burst into tears, and maybe she could talk to me since I’m a lady.
So I asked the two guys in the office to excuse us, and they left.
I sat with her and asked, “What’s the problem?”
She said her tummy was biting her.
I asked, “Is it cramps?”
She said no.
I said, “Okay, why is your tummy biting you then?”
She said she doesn’t know, that it’s just biting her.
I said, “I don’t know if what you need is in this first aid box. Let me take you to a nearby clinic so they can check you.”
She said no, that she doesn’t have strength.
I asked her, “What did you eat this afternoon?”
She said she didn’t eat anything.
I said, “What about morning before coming to work?”
She said she didn’t eat anything.
I said okay, hold on, I am coming.
I went upstairs to HR and told him that what the staff needs is not in the first aid box, that I need to go out and get what she needs.
HR asked how much it would cost, and I said about 5k.
He counted the money immediately and gave it to me, telling me to do anything I can to help.
I went out, bought two plates of food, took a chilled drink from the fridge, and went back to her.
I gave her one plate and sat beside her eating the other one.
After eating, she looked up, breathing better and sweating.
She said thank you so much and God bless you.
I asked her, “Are you feeling better now?”
She said yes.
I said, “Okay, let’s go to the clinic now.”
She said no, no, no, that she is fine.
I said okay.
I told her that the money came from HR, so when she is free, she should go and thank him.
I carried the first aid box back to my office.
At closing time, HR called me and said, “Chinecherem, I thought you studied English?”
I said yes.
He said, “How come you knew the exact medication she needed?”
I said, “That is because I have experienced that kind of thing before.”
In fact, if salary doesn’t drop this week, my own sickness will start o 😂

It happened in an interstate bus, I was going to Lagos from Abeokuta.
we started the journey,so I sat beside one aboki at the back seat. This man literally hasn’t brushed or had his bath too bc it was in the morning and it’s those aboki that sell onions. He reeked of onions. He’s literally smelling but I didn’t have choice that day.
I didn’t think of it much at first, until first call came in for him with his loud phone, the first thing this man would say, the odor from his mouth , I said to myself “I can’t survive this today” then I used style to cover my nose with my handkerchief and he looked at me. He finished with the first call then my handkerchief was still on my nose.

I once dated this sweet yoruba boy he was everything one could ever ask for.
He was very generous with me and gave me everything I needed.
3 months into the relationship I found out he was building a small house for his mom ,I got angry coz I didn't have one myself.
So I had to cry and tell him I needed the house for myself ,he loved his mom coz she was the only thing he had since he lost his dad just the 2 of them.
But he loved me more and hated seeing me sad. So he gave the house to me instead and worked on it to my taste . He even gave me the car he bought for her which I told him I wanted else I'll break up with him.
His mom after finding out was devastated when

Crazy how this fan named Matthew David Hughes broke into Eminem’s house while he was sleeping just to tell Eminem he was going to kill him.
He stalked Eminem for six years, and in 2019 he decided to make his first move. He broke into Eminem’s former homes and told the new homeowners he was looking for his “brother Marshall.”
In 2020, he went to the main house Eminem actually lives in, broke a window while he was sleeping, and entered the house. He then told Eminem he was going to kill him, but Eminem wrestled him, pinned him down, and escorted him outside until security guards arrived and took over.
After being arrested and convicted, the man broke into Eminem’s house again in 2024. He was arrested again, and the court sentenced him to 30 years in prison.

Another day, another cry for help. We are still struggling to clear my mum’s debt from the ransom we had to pay to secure her safety. Right now, we still have an outstanding balance of ₦4.5 million, and the pressure from the lenders is becoming unbearable every single day.
My mum is no longer herself. The emotional and financial stress is taking a serious toll on her, and it’s breaking me to watch her go through this. We have tried everything we can, but we cannot do this alone anymore.
Please, I’m begging for your support—any amount you can give will go a long way. And if you’re unable to donate, kindly help me repost this. You might be the reason help finds us.

There was a time on Twitter NG when once you'd see a handle called "Yusuf" or "Abubakar" or "Abdullahi", you knew you were about to hear the dumbest, most delusional word salad in defense of anything related to Muhammadu Buhari.
Then a few years later, once you saw "Niyi", "Segun" or "Yemi", you knew you were about to hear some brain dead, mentally deranged nonsense in support of anything to do with Bola Tinubu.
Now history is repeating itself, because once you see "Chidi", "China" or "Emeka", you know you're about to hear something completely unhinged and mentally retarded in support of anything to do with Israel or Donald Trump.
It's weirdly comforting to see these patterns play out, because it reaffirms what I have always known - Nigerians collectively exist at the exact same mental level. Some Nigerians have managed to convince themselves that their ethnic group is somehow less ignorant than other ones, but the reality is that all of you are the exact same kind of low-information dummy.
Whether it's Yusuf that shines shoes, or unemployed Kunle that plays Sportybet, or spare parts Chidi, all of you are EXACTLY as retarded as each other, and you deserve to be in the same country with each other. There will be no Arewa Republic, Oduduwa Republic or Biafra - all of you are either going to develop brains together, or you will die together as you've been doing.
Whenever you wake up.

The robber asked why they threw up garri and they told her that was dinner, she felt bad for them slapped my uncle 4 times and gave the kids bundles of 50 naira notes 4 each left them alone and promised no one would ever rob their house again. Since then mans never joked with his kids again till they left for canada years later.

On bumble, I matched with a guy in Japan that looked cute, but it was hard to tell with his terrible quality profile photos. He also had no bio or anything. As such, I ignored him for a while. Eventually we did go out on a date.
When I walked up to him, he started talking, but punctuating almost every sentence with the weirdest laugh I had ever heard. It seemed to be a nervous tick. In between all the off-putting laughter, he said he wasn't expecting me to look cuter in person than my profile photos. I was creeped out, but I went along with the date anyway, as he didn't seem dangerous, just weird.
He was very nice and attentive to me, and didn't do anything suspicious. I just felt hella embarrassed, because his laugh tick was loud and noticeable to others. He also only did it when speaking to me, as he could talk to staff or others perfectly fine.
It was then that I thought about a character that I really like, @dickishly OC Richard. He's also a socially awkward, creepy dude, and perhaps a tamer real life version of him would act similarly to this guy I was on a date with. That helped me to accept his weird laugh, and give him a chance. I'm glad I did, because he became the nicest, ironically most normal, and most well adjusted boyfriend I ever had.
His tick did die down, never fully going away, but it became endearing to me. It was a sign of how much I flustered him unlike anyone else. We didn't work out in the end, but I don't regret dating him at all. All our time spent together are happy memories to me.

Two Italian men get on a bus...
They sit down and engage in an animated conversation.
The lady sitting behind them ignores them at first, but her attention is galvanised when she hears one of the men say the following:
"Emma, come first. Den I come. Den two asses come together. I come once-a-more. Two asses, they come together again. I come again and pee twice. Then I come one lasta time."
"You foul-mouthed swine," retorted the lady indignantly. "In this country, we don't talk about our sex lives in public!"
"Hey, coola down, lady," said the man.
"Who talkin' abouta sexa? I'm a justa tellin' my frienda how to spella 'Mississippi'."

My cousin Joyce used to live with us and worked at GTB. Sadly, she had an accident and passed away while returning home from work.
After her death, something strange started happening. Every evening between 6 and 8 pm, we would hear knocks on the front door, but whenever we checked, no one was there. It went on for days, and we were all really scared.
Eventually, my mom called a bricklayer to seal up that door and create a new entrance. From that moment, the knocking completely stopped.
