Ground Grading Update 🏟️ Following on from our update in March, and as stated with that update, the club applied for and had a time extension given for the away changing room expansion and work required to turnstiles.

Dearest supporters of @hallamfc1860, The final home match — and much to be thankful for… This club would not be where it stands today without the dedication and hard work of so many: players, management, supporters, volunteers and the board. A decade of progress, pride and proper football. Who knows what the future may bring… but one hopes it proves just as successful — and just as joyful. Good luck @HallamFC1860 💙

With respect, we are not the same person. In every post & reply, I have simply highlighted how far @hallamfc1860 has come — thanks to the board, volunteers, management, players and supporters. We all know the club needs investment — and the right people will come. The club was right to reconsider certain “interested parties” — and it appears to be for good reason. I have consistently asked for unity not division. The club’s last statement invites involvement from the community. Opinions may be misread on here, of course… but criticism of those who have built this club is often taken personally — and understandably so. I have neither the time nor inclination for personal insults or public spats on social media. For the final home match… it’s simple. Thank the management team. Support the players. Appreciate the volunteers. Stand with the board. Let’s make it one to remember 💙

@robbiemarka @Mat_Man_Miracle It’s easy to expand options on paper — somewhat harder in practice. Anne’s Cabin obviously works well for the club. There are some excellent food options at other grounds, but probably not feasible at @HallamFC1860 for now. 💙

@Mat_Man_Miracle @ladyhallam Almost 500 there today. I walked past the cabin 6 times today and never more than 4 people queuing. Almost everyone with chips and a few pasties. Easy and quick to serve food. If we got 4000 every week, maybe we could do more, but as it stands it seems reasonable.

A bold proposal… though one can’t help but wonder about your taste. It is, after all, a football ground — not a fine dining establishment. That said, any volunteer willing to roll up their sleeves at Sandygate is always welcome — we do rather value those who contribute, not just comment.💙

another thing at Sandygate that we can look to focus on. The variety of food from Ann’s cabin. Doesn’t need much but a few additions and we can make some improvements! (I will volunteer to improve the menu 😉👌) #hallamFC

Quite right — there is some excellent food on offer. Though one suspects the realities of Ann’s cabin are being rather overlooked. Limited facilities, catering for hundreds, and doing so without waste… no small task. I would imagine a limited menu works for the club as they have to estimate crowds & food consumption

@Mat_Man_Miracle @ladyhallam Hallam need to sell food that will sell and make them a profit. While I agree it's always good to constantly look to improvements on the catering front (like outside pints, so example) the club seem hardly in a position to match much bigger sides on their offers.

@ladyhallam @ian_grumpa_67 @HallamFC1860 If the club is in a difficult spot right now, who put it their? Seeking transparency, democracy and accountability is not a vendetta. As to your suggestion on the need to come forward with ideas and personal contribution, watch this space.

Dearest @HallamFC1860 supporters 💙 Plenty have opinions… How fortunate, then, that match day offers the perfect opportunity to show support instead. To reiterate the club’s statement last week, “we remain committed to retaining the community involvement in the club.” @hallamfc1860’s success isn’t down to luck — it was built by tireless effort & the unwavering commitment of its board and volunteers. 2 home games left … So get involved and let’s all stand together as one club 💙

I do tire of repeating myself… yet the Chairman’s words remain quite clear: “We remain committed to retaining the community involvement in the club and developing a model that gives YOU, our Hallam FC family, a say in moving forward. To most, that reads as an open invitation — not a grievance. Perhaps, rather than airing increasingly personal vendettas towards the board, one might consider stepping forward instead. Get involved. Join the board. Present a plan. Show how YOU would take the club forward. It is, after all, far easier to criticise than to contribute 💙

@ladyhallam @ian_grumpa_67 @HallamFC1860 I would say that the team of volunteers are brilliant and run the club very well. I am in awe of them. I think the evidence of the last few months indicates that the leadership above them are not leading the club as well. More to follow on this in the coming days.

With respect, A non-league club, run by a small board and dedicated volunteers who come and get jobs done, is hardly a “regime.” I do hope you are not comparing our board and volunteers to the “lovely” Dejphon Chansiri. @hallamfc1860 has always been — a community club, built and sustained by those who do the work that keeps the club alive💙

@hallamfc1860 stands on years of quiet graft, loyalty, and community spirit. It was built -not bought. Rather than forming separate groups that risk challenging the committee and volunteers, why not work alongside them to build on what we already have? Stand beside it, not against it. Work with the people who got it this far. It doesn’t need rescuing — it needs backing. Yours faithfully, A Most Observant Lady

A few of us Hallamites looking at creating a Hallam supporters trust. We feel it’s time for its creation in order to keep those running the club held accountable and give fans a voice. The idea is very much in its infancy but my DMs are open should you have questions #HallamF

@GinoMaccio28 @AlanBiggs1 @S18Owl @HallamFC1860 Rarely do I post on social media, but I think this is an horrendous thing to do. Sharing private messages in a public setting to try and embarrass or undermine someone shows a real lack of class. Openly attacking the club's volunteers is unforgivable
