ive had zero spooky meditation side effects. no synchronicities, energetic transmissions, nothing but strangers now approach me constantly, in grocery aisles, while I’m parked in car, in locker room, cafes, when people that walk with me see it and are surprised. it’s v annoying

@tucker_peck Totally! It is very very hard to build up a daily practice; especially if your personality is not suited to structure or consistency

Having trouble meditating for 30 minutes? Do it for 3 days. Daily practice might not be awesome enough to keep you motivated. A long stretch of practice (retreat) is generally awesome enough that you'll want to keep going once you're home.

@ZyMazza It's actually less secure to have these requirements I work with a system that has very strict requirements for long passwords, and it retains the last 2 to check for repeats. If you look at the actual passwords in the table, almost all users have converged to the same 3 patterns

I hate the paternalism in tech. Did it ever occur to you I picked an insecure password because it’s easy to remember and I don’t care if an attacker logs in to pay my utility bill?

I think I found my answer :-) it’s a lot higher res than just the concept of “relax”

I notice how often I’ll fill my fertile time with socializing thru calling or texting. So I guess all my relationships may be sustained by my fertile time! Such time allows new ideas to ferment, stress level to go down, a hunger for new experience to develop…

I’m on sabbatical right now and realizing two weeks in… I don’t know how to relax! Or I don’t know how to look at a period of time and be satisfied that during that time, I “relaxed”
