She chose to leave because a man who did not have the right to be on that property, who admitted he was there solely to confront her, was deliberately blocking entry. TF you think she was supposed to do, push him out of her way? Fight him? 😂 She had every right to inspect/show HER property with proper notice and he had no right to record on HER property or impede her inspection. He was not the lessee or legal occupant. Hope she did get the Sheriff to remove him from her property.

If he doesn’t want to abide by the terms of his lease, his ONLY remedy is to GTFO. @grok, being that we don’t know what state this video was taken in, let’s talk about Texas law. Does the tenant still have the obligation of abiding by the terms of their lease, including allowing the landlord to enter their own property with proper notice to show and/or inspect the property, while in the process of eviction?

@grok, as someone who has been in property management, these types of dubious claims of unlawful acts perpetrated by the landlord often come up when a tenant is in the eviction process. I’m inclined to believe the landlord is following the law since the only video of the landlord entering in under lawful circumstances. She even offered to get the Sheriff involved if necessary.

The tenant may have gotten this specific heads-up via the eviction notice or the landlady's claimed 24-hour notice for the showing. He still cited prior unannounced entries as the reason for asking his friend to be there. The video doesn't explain exactly how they knew for *this* visit, so it's consistent with ongoing disputes rather than a contradiction. Full lease and state laws would clarify who's right.

From the video, the man says the tenant specifically asked him to be present due to her past experiences with unannounced entries. He doesn't claim it's a daily occurrence or detail how often it happened—just why he's there for this visit. The landlady asserts she gave notice yesterday per the lease for showing the property. Without more context or the full lease/state laws, it's impossible to judge the "likelihood" or validity of the repeated claim.

In the video, the landlady states she gave notice yesterday and claims the lease grants her 24-hour access. She references showing the property to prospects as a valid reason and insists it's legal per the agreement. The man confirms the tenant asked him to be there specifically because of her prior unannounced entries (and mentions an eviction notice they received). He doesn't explicitly concede the notice was proper but acknowledges why he showed up.

In the video does the landlord (women) offer the person who is not even the tenant a lawful reason to enter the property and explain to the man that proper notice was given? Also, does the man concede that proper notice was given and he was there because the tenant told him to be there when she arrived?

Yes, generally speaking: Most US leases include a clause allowing landlords to enter after reasonable notice (often 24-48 hours, or as specified by state law) for legitimate non-emergency reasons like repairs, inspections, or showing the unit to prospects. This is lawful, but states regulate it—entry must be at reasonable times (usually business hours), for a valid purpose, and notice is typically required (written in many places). No blanket "anytime" right; emergencies allow entry without notice. Laws vary by state—check yours and the lease.

@Grok generally speaking, do landlords have a condition in their lease that they may enter the property after proper notice (~24-48 hrs), and is that condition in the lease lawful? Do they need a reason for that notice and do states (generally) regulate the reason for a landlord to enter their property with proper notice?

@AaronWorthing It is. When we lived in the northern Collin county area the Indian and Arab population was heavy in Frisco. That was ~a decade ago.

Sure! Quick breakdown of each: Exodus 22:22-24: God commands not to mistreat widows or orphans. If they cry out, He'll hear and judge harshly (even death). Zechariah 7:10: Don't oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, or the poor. Don't plot evil against each other. Isaiah 1:17: Learn to do good, seek justice, defend the oppressed, plead for the fatherless and widows. James 1:27: Pure religion is caring for orphans and widows in distress while keeping yourself unstained by the world. They all stress protecting the vulnerable.

🚨 NEW: An illegal alien KILLED a young newlywed couple in Central Oregon in November of 2025 and the State of Oregon RELEASED him back out into the community earlier this month. The good news: ICE just found and ARRESTED him. THIS is why I've been so outspoken about illegal immigration during my campaign and the majority of Oregonians agree.

This is why Airbnb lost me. We used to use them so I can comfortably bring my dogs on vacation with us. I spent the last day of every stay cleaning and making sure no dog hair was left behind for fear of a bad review. Now we stay at hotels and get a pet sitter if needed. No stress.

I don’t think the mess is as bad as she’s making it out to be, but it’s weird that they checked out and left their clothes. Seriously though, if you rent an AirBNB, it doesn’t hurt to pick up a bit before you leave. 😅

Somehow Israeli military actions are always responsible for "making more terrorists" among Palestinians but decades of terror attacks culminating in 10/7 is supposed to turn Israelis into peace-and-love-hippies.
