Claude Opus 4.7 has been really off lately.
I'm running it on xhigh effort with 1M context on the Max plan and it's just not performing.
Struggles with debugging.
Loses track of context mid session.
Takes multiple attempts on bugs that GPT 5.5 one shots.
I've been using Claude Code daily for months.
This model has felt like a miss from Anthropic.
Mythos has a 15% chance of releasing by June 30 on Polymarket.
Anthropic, we need it sooner.
Opus 4.7 is not holding up.

@BichaelRender @tweeterazzis @ClownWorld Not where I live. They can do anything and get away with it.

@nrivers @brockpierson Mosaic was actually the base of Netscape and IE (at least up through version 3 or so) Microsoft licensed it after Marc took the code to start netscape.
The IE about box even mentioned it!
English

@brockpierson I used it exclusively for years, particularly when it was called NCSA Mosaic.

@TheGoldenDays Hope it's not version 4.0.4. That one had crash bugs with CSS

@landofthe80s Back when they had a super bar, food that seemed fresh and didn't get political.

@Rothmus wisconsin was part of the michigania territory before michigan got statehood. Kind of true at one point.

@tweeterazzis @ClownWorld There are more incidents of idiot cyclists in the video than drivers. This one is bad on the driver side.
Cyclists should get tickets.
English

@ClownWorld there's just as many examples in this video of the drivers being in the wrong. Look at this muppet in the bike lane. The universal rule stands: both drivers AND riders are capable of being dickheads.

@GamewithDave @PFlameado Ultra HD discs beat streaming any day of the week. Many people never bought ultrahd players though. Several companies have already pulled out of the market. Buy one while you can. They also upscale blu-ray and DVDs to 4k

@LundukeJournal this just makes bun even less portable than it was before across operating systems.
English

Bun has been ported to Rust entirely using AI.
And, as many on this wide, weird Intertube of ours have surmised, I do, indeed, find this amusing.
Because many of you have asked (or hypothesized) here are Lunduke’s thoughts:
1) Not terribly interested in Bun. It’s an overhyped NodeJS clone with a bathtub and kitchen sink thrown in. I don’t hate it, but I don’t use it and consider it bloated.
2) It’s unsurprising that it was re-written using AI. It is, after all, owned by @AnthropicAI. Doing this “AI Re-write” is a good marketing stunt for them.
3) It’s also unsurprising that they chose Rust for the AI re-write. Rust is, like Bun (and Anthropic, in general), overhyped. Overhype X 3 = Marketing idea that management can’t say “no” to.
4) There will, almost assuredly, be both positives and negatives for rewriting Bun in Rust with AI.
5) If I used Bun in production… I would be *very* hesitant to use this re-write any time soon. Give it a year or two to work out kinks before moving away from the non-Rust version.
