Millwall Football Club is aware of racist abuse directed at Femi Azeez on social media following Saturday’s fixture.
The club condemns this behaviour in the strongest possible terms and is angered Femi has been subject to such disgusting abuse.
Racism, or any form of discrimination, has no place in football, or in society, and we stand firmly with Femi.
It is important to highlight the account holder responsible for this abuse appears to have no affiliation with either Millwall or Hull City.
Nonetheless, such actions are completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The club will continue to work with the relevant authorities and platforms where necessary, and we remain fully committed to promoting equality, inclusion and respect within the game.
Everyone at the club offers Femi and his family its full support.
