Yesterday, I stepped down from my role as Special Adviser on Transportation to the Governor of Lagos State. It has been an honor to serve and contribute to the transformation of our transport system under the THEMES+ Agenda. I remain grateful to Mr. Governor for the trust and opportunity. After deep reflection and wide consultations, I am answering a higher call to represent the good people of Lagos Island Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives. This next chapter is about stronger representation, purposeful legislation, and delivering real impact for our people. The journey continues.

The Opebi–Mende Link Bridge is a testament to how strategic infrastructure can transform movement and connect communities in Lagos. By linking Opebi in Ikeja to Mende in Maryland, this bridge creates a new route that reduces traffic around Allen, Mobolaji Bank Anthony, and Ikorodu Road. For Lagosians, this translates to shorter travel times, less stress, and a smoother daily commute. This impactful project, one of the many, driven by @jidesanwolu, showcases effective governance through collaboration between the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Works. It's a prime example of different government arms working together towards a common goal: improving lives. The Opebi–Mende Link Bridge connects communities, opportunities, and a better Lagos, embodying the spirit of progress in Lagos. ...igbega ipinle Eko....ajumo she ni!!!

LAGOS WARNS MOTORISTS AGAINST PATRONISING FAKE VEHICLE DOCUMENTATION AGENTS The Lagos State Ministry of Transportation has noticed that some unscrupulous individuals are issuing fake vehicle documents like Roadworthiness Certificates and other Vehicle Particulars to unsuspecting motorists across the State. Any document issued outside these official channels is invalid and constitutes a serious offence. The Ministry assures the public that in collaboration with security agencies, enforcement operations have been intensified to apprehend those involved in this illegal activity. Anyone caught engaging in such acts will be made to face the full wrath of the law. Members of the public are encouraged to verify the authenticity of service providers before engaging them and report suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities or to these phone numbers 09020004000 or 09020009000.   E-signed: Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation.   26th March, 2026.
