Writer friends; don't give up when told your book is not commercially viable. 130+ agent rejections before I chose @WildRosePress . And just look at that pretty orange banner today! This book has 100+ reviews on GR and is finding it's readers, not sat in a drawer. Keep at it!

@jpkiekens Totally agree - they know exactly what they are doing. Get rid of all those pesky little customers and profit off the bigger brands/ accounts that will have a harder time changing fast. Many companies will pay rather than take on the learning curve on a new platform.

@lainey_cameron FYI, got this on my way of cancelling because they are dishonoring the lifetime guaranteed pricing. They know what they are doing. It's not by mistake.

* 80% price increase?? * Dishonoring lifetime guaranteed pricing. Y'all are greedy tech cowboys who don't deserve the customers you acquired. Every podcast forum I'm on is full of discussions over which service to move to. You 're gonna see mass customer flight. #streamyard

“This feature's my favorite.” Time’s flown since we acquired StreamYard back in May—and the team's been fully focused on strengthening the platform and delivering new features. Product lead Davide Simonetti and platform engineer Lorenzo D'Eri share some of the highlights from the past six months: From Davide: “Every feature and improvement we’ve released since May has been designed with one goal in mind: to make StreamYard ever more intuitive and powerful for our customers. Here are three standout updates that our community is loving (and that I’m appreciating as a new streamer): ♻️ Reusable studios: We tackled solving the time-intensive process of setting up a recording studio for every episode. With Reusable Studios, streamers can recreate their perfect setup again and again with a single click. 🎞️ Automatic intro and outro videos: Streamers told us that juggling intros and outros in a live stream was stressful—and I can confirm! So we made it possible to automatically start video playback at the perfect moment. 🖼️ Scenes: This feature is rolling out soon, but it's already one of my favorites. StreamYard has always supported complex on-screen layouts, but setting them up live can be overwhelming. With Scenes, streamers can now design layouts in advance and breeze through the recording.” And for the tech side, over to Lorenzo: “At StreamYard’s core is real-time audio and video processing. We recently updated the open-source software that powers this essential process to deliver major improvements in performance and stability. This means fewer pain points like audio crackling or freezing during broadcasts, and a much smoother experience overall.” Six months down, and the team’s just getting started. Here’s to all the improvements yet to come! 🚀

Wow is anyone else using Streamyard? Get the memo yet about an 80% price increase on renewal? This is what happens when a bunch of tech bro brats @bendingspoons buy a great startup and ruin it. What are folks looking at moving to, instead? #streamyard

This will be a great event - if you're interested in how to write characters with disabilities or just how to write characters who are unlike yourself, I promise you'll find it enlightening! @charlotte_dune explains well below! #writingcommunity #amwriting

So I'm hosting/lightly moderating an online panel this week on writing and disabilities with three authors and gathering questions. Here is what we have so far. Can you think of anything else you'd want to know about writing fiction with disabilities? Questions:
