Good morning. She is not a happy camper but such a trooper. She is having her after breakfast sort of nap. They released dad from the ICU to home yesterday afternoon where he put me to work right away. We have to wait for the other hospital to call for his valve replacement surgery. LANA is a small-sized girl (about 28 cm tall), with a big heart & an even bigger capacity to love. She was rescued from a severe hoarding situation in the City where over 100 dogs were living in difficult conditions. Thanks to a collective effort by rescuers & animal welfare organisations, the dogs were safely taken out. The ABLDR team took 20 of them into their care, & Lana was one of those lucky souls. In her photos, Lana is freshly groomed, her coat was previously very long & badly matted, but now she’s feeling much more comfortable & looks absolutely adorable. She is one of the first dogs ready for adoption because of her wonderful temperament. She is incredibly sweet, friendly, & affectionate. She lives indoors alongside other dogs & cats & gets along beautifully with everyone. She welcomes visitors with joy, is not afraid of men, & shows no behavioural issues. It's believed Lana may not have spent too long in the hoarding environment, as she is very trusting & well-adjusted. She is truly a little gem ready to bring love & happiness into a forever home.
