@lakiaamarga I don't know if people know this but half of the people they will meet in their life on average will not be men. People will loudly mald when they see demand for a female rider but shrink into a corncob when they have to talk to a woman in real life to do anything important.

@ZepVarietyHour like the idea of female riders being seen as "catering" is weird to me. precure doing male cures has never been met with this much pushback i dont think having more girl riders would even mean rider isnt for boys. it still is. but its always had girl characters too so. lol

@ZepVarietyHour its always interesting to me that just asking for more female riders ends up into a discussion of "why cant we have media for just boys and just girls" as if... rider cant maintain male characters while also giving more prominence to female ones?

@LSonicraft @grandnozomi i think the main route would be advertising it towards gundam/medabot/mecha enthusiasts at this point. i do think there's an audience even if it may be niche. if anything i do consider the fact that they put the crossover movie content as DLC in the new i11 as a huge plus

@lakiaamarga @grandnozomi I would much prefer a remake or a port of the LBX trilogy on Switch and Steam. A new game like IE Victory Road would be intriguing, but how do you reintroduce the universe when some of the games/anime have only been released outside of Japan?

so imagine a show designed to sell toys but its actually so insane and mentally unwell that it kinda succeeds but at the same time. kinda doesnt. but also they kinda just gave the people working on it free reign to do whatever they wanted. this went on for over 50 episodes

@LSonicraft @grandnozomi though they DID kinda try this with soukou musume, but man that franchise went through development hell and an identity crisis to the point it was kinda dead in the water before it even properly came out. its a shame too as it was trying to reference past events from the og anime

@LSonicraft @grandnozomi in general i'm hesitant about wishing for a new dansen game especially considering akihiro hino's strange obsession with AI lately, but i do think a collector's edition/remaster would be worthwhile, at least for L5 to test the waters for continued interest
