If you’re a thumbnail artist and primarily working in Photoshop, I’d honestly just recommend a MacBook Air with maxed out RAM and that’s it M4 or M5 is plenty power Photoshop is a RAM eater but you don’t need a maxed out MacBook Pro to do thumbnail design Only thing pushing me towards a MBP is the XDR screen and nano texture Also, if you don’t know, this year Apple will announce a new form factor MacBook Pro with touch screen. I’m curious to see what that will be like
