A two-year-old girl helped save her dad during a low blood sugar episode. Her parents had taught her what to do in case of an emergency, and she remembered. Knowing how to respond to a diabetic crisis can truly save a life.

@econetzimbabwe @econet_support Dear #econet l would like to report an issue with my #Smart4U Data bundle. It has prematurely stopped working just 2 days in. Everything depends on being online these days. It seems your stuff are offline judging by the response? I’m offline too

He is furious because more rational white people are coming to South Africa, touring the country, and laughing at his genocide lies. Yesterday I landed in Johannesburg on a British Airways A380 from London. You could literally count the number of black people on that flight, it was packed with white tourists. The people you see on Twitter peddling genocide fantasies are a fringe of delusional, unrepentant racists. Loud, bitter, and empty. They shout online because reality humiliates them, there is no genocide in South Africa. South Africa has no racist laws. It has laws designed to redress 342 years of racist colonial rule. When black people were deliberately denied land, education, wealth, and dignity for three and a half centuries, correcting that injustice is not racism, it is justice. Equality does not float in a vacuum. Equality is anchored in justice. Laws that help the historically oppressed to have a fair shot at life are only called racist by racists, especially the unrepentant ones who benefited from oppression and now resent accountability. The only thing they are scared of is equality!

My clients were beginning to feel abandoned (in the midst of my switching ISPs from the other one that ironically quotes Bible verses). Have to say I’m impressed with the front desk stuff at @Wearedtel (especially Leonard). This small team is punching heads & shoulders above all

I want to repeat this to all Africans. As long as you continue voting for personalities and not for ideas rooted in a clear value system, you will remain stuck in the dark. You will remain backward. You will remain mere spectators of technology and development in other parts of the world, while your continent remains stagnant and a global laughing stock. The choice is yours. We say these things not because you are unaware, but because it is important that they are recorded, so that future generations who will one day ask, “What kind of people were these who kept voting for personalities and not for ideas?” will know that there were some voices within those generations who cautioned against the danger of such behaviour. This problem is not unique to Zimbabwe or South Africa. It is happening across the continent, where people boldly declare that they will die for an individual rather than live and work for ideas that can transform their societies. Such people deserve every ounce of suffering that follows, because their misplaced loyalty condemns not just themselves but also their children to the same cycle of poverty, corruption, and stagnation. A personality cult will never build schools, hospitals, roads, or create jobs. Only ideas and values that are translated into sound policies and accountable governance can achieve that. The sooner Africans understand this, the sooner they can liberate themselves from being perpetual victims of their own choices. The choice is yours to make, if you want to remain backward, keep voting for personalities instead of ideas, if you want your children to remain a laughing stock globally, keep voting and following personality cults instead of ideas that will get you out of your current mess! The choice is yours to make.
