A small announcement with big feelings: Lambda Days won’t be happening in 2026. It’s a difficult moment for us - this conference has always been about people, passion, and the FP community coming together. Dear FP Community, Even though we're on a break this year, there are still many great gatherings to attend, such as @Lambda_World, which is colocated with two other tech conferences in Málaga!🇪🇸🌞 So take your functional and non-functional friends and spend those few autumn days where it's still warm! That's a real shame ... LambdaDays is such a great conference, and has brought a lot into the community. I had the privilege to help with shaping the program, and to speak there multiple times - starting with Akka in 2015, through FP, cats-effect, ZIO, Unison, all the way to Ox & "What, actually, is FP?" in 2025. You'll be missed! Is an era of IT conferences and meetups ending? Are we only going to be left with the really big ones?

#LambdaDays were a blast! A perfect balance between thought-provoking keynotes from researchers and industry-grounded talks covering various languages and ecosystems. And of course the hallway track! Glad to have met lots of interesting people. Going home with a lot of ideas.
