@sabeer This is not about nation it is about people. National Anthem has to be about nation. Lyrics are otherwise below average. No offence. But national anthem has to be something that brings you goosebump not some thing like school ka prayer.

If I were to choose a New National Anthem for India, it would be called Nayi Disha:

@k210184 @darab_farooqui Each for their own. He may be right for you, for me all allegations made by him exist for more than 50% judges of courts - this way or that. Its very easy to file recusal against any judge who lives in this society.

The Deception in the Courtroom I watched this video at least twenty times. Not to find ammunition. Because I was sincerely trying to understand her argument. After all, Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma is a High Court judge. You have to take her seriously. What I found, after twenty viewings, was deliberate misdirection. Wrapped in legal language, structured to sound like constitutional principle, designed to make the judge appear as though she had answered a question she had carefully avoided. She made her argument in open court. It sounded principled. It was not. It is an act of intellectual dishonesty, and it falls apart under the simplest scrutiny. Arvind Kejriwal, appearing as a litigant in her court, had raised a challenge about conflict of interest. The judge's response deserves to be read carefully. "When a judge sits as neutral adjudicator, the parties appearing before court cannot question competence of judges by stating that since some judgments have been modified or set aside by higher courts she is therefore not fit to do justice. There exists a clear boundary line for judges when it comes to entering the domain of Parliament or state legislature and questioning certain aspects, except as permitted under Constitution. The same principle will apply in reverse - A politician cannot be permitted to cross boundaries and sit in judgment over competence of judge." Three problems. Each one serious on its own. Together, they constitute a work of judicial misdirection that should concern every citizen. Problem One: The Wrong Person in the Room The judge addresses her argument to a politician. But Kejriwal was not in her court as a politician. He was there as a litigant. A citizen. A party to a case over which she presides. This distinction is not semantic. It is the entire foundation of the matter. A litigant's right to raise a conflict of interest challenge is one of the most fundamental rights in any legal system. It exists precisely because justice must not only be done but be seen to be done. When a party says the judge hearing their case has a conflict of interest, they are not making a political speech. They are exercising a procedural right that the law itself recognizes. By reframing Kejriwal exclusively as a politician crossing into judicial territory, the judge sidesteps this entirely. The political identity becomes a disqualification. The litigant's standing disappears. A citizen raising a legitimate procedural objection gets converted, by rhetorical sleight of hand, into a politician out of bounds. This is the first misdirection. Being a politician does not make you less of a citizen. It does not strip you of your rights as a litigant. The reframing was not accidental. It was necessary. Because if Kejriwal remains a litigant, the challenge must be addressed on its merits. The only way to avoid that is to make him someone else. Problem Two: Competence Is Not Conflict of Interest The judge's first argument is defensible on its own terms. Litigants cannot demand a judge's removal simply because higher courts have overturned her judgments. Reversal rates do not equal incompetence. A judge can be reversed often and still be fit to adjudicate. That argument stands. But the challenge before the court was not about COMPETENCE. It was about CONFLICT OF INTEREST. These are categorically different things. Competence is a general question about a judge's ability. Conflict of interest is a specific, case-bound question about a judge's impartiality in a particular matter. The standards are different. The remedies are different. The rights attached to each are different. Even the most brilliant, experienced, and universally respected judge must recuse if there is a legitimate question about their neutrality in a specific case. Recusal is not about rating a judge. It is about protecting the integrity of a specific proceeding. CONT++

That is the real problem. Not just one judge's flawed argument. But a system with insufficient mechanisms to catch and expose this specific failure, which is not ignorance, but motivated sophistry wearing a robe. Perhaps legal logic works differently from ordinary logic. Perhaps there is a framework, a precedent, a constitutional principle I am not trained to see, that makes this argument coherent. If so, I would genuinely like a lawyer to explain it to me. But based on every principle of reasoning I understand, this does not hold. The wrong person was addressed. The wrong question was answered. The bridge between the two arguments was announced, not built. That is not a legal conclusion. It is a logical one. And I have not yet seen an argument that the two are different things. And dear @ArvindKejriwal can't your team see this?

What is the difference between the first set of people who left AAP, and the latest set of seven people who have left AAP to join the BJP? The first set of people left when Kejriwal compromised the principles on which the party was set up. The second set led by Raghav Chaddha enjoyed all the perks of power, including being nominated to the Rajya Sabha. They have joined the BJP with pure opportunism bereft of any principles

I am saying this again, India is no longer a country for free and fair business, nor a land of creative freedom. You invest your hard-earned money to build something from scratch, and suddenly 2-rupee Bajrang Dal goons show up at your doorstep to shut it down, just because you try to create a neutral space or say something that doesn’t fit their politics. The attacks on Piyush Bansal and Namita Thapar will push a whole generation of entrepreneurs to leave India. Economic growth depends on a strong ecosystem, and when people don’t feel safe to build or speak, why would anyone stay? On one side, Hindutva goons. On the other, what does the government offer? High taxes, constant Income Tax and ED notices, harassment of the very people trying to create jobs and value. And let’s be clear, this doesn’t happen without political patronage. BJP cannot deny that these mobs are part of the ecosystem that benefits them. You build something, and one day 100 unemployed goons can walk in and destroy it. Is this the environment we want for business and innovation?

I’ve seen Dhurandhar 1 twice now. Brilliance throughout ! Loved the movie and have immense respect for the director and entire team for their in depth detailing and presenting things in a very original format. But one thing I’m unable to make peace with. The final scene, the showdown between the big 3, and Hamza’s entire plan rested on the fact the Rehman Dakait would fall asleep in the car ? What if he had not slept and continued chatting or you know, just being awake. What was plan B ? H still would’ve taken the jungle route and made something up ? How he would’ve pulled that off to reach where SP was waiting for them. Can someone point out what I missed ?
