The greens are recovering great, even with the snow, rain & frost thrown at them this week. The new bunkers at the 2nd & the two greenside at 5 have been filled with sand. The course has also had its first full cut of the year. Opening day tomorrow, good luck to captain Nigel⛳️

Lovely weather today for a greens renovation. Scarification followed by a verti-cut and then cut. Rocastem going out tomorrow, then a cut and top dress on Friday to finish it off. Thanks to @BA_LTD for the scarification work, top job.⛳️⛳️@terralift @Aitkens_turf

Greens renovation complete with a cut at 5mm, top dress & brush in. Holes have been changed ahead of this weekend. We have a granular feed to go out next week before the start of the season on Saturday.
Final picture shows the foot traffic on one green in a three hour period😳

Last of the turf lifting finished this morning, with @ConsensusLtd coming in tomorrow to start the trenching process. Made a start on some aeration work on the other greens. Temporary greens have been cut this afternoon & some work has started to clear the fallen/damaged trees.☀️

Busy day on the course. Fairways & surrounds cut, 9th tee extension had a few cuts to get the height down. 10th and 15th stream banks strimmed and tidied, along with the back of the 13th green. Most of the GUR areas have also been reseeded and soiled.⛳️⛳️

Another lovely day on the course, greens cut & more disease scars seeded & sanded. Bunkers and banks fly mowed, streams have been strimmed and started mowing fairways to get ahead tomorrow.⛳️☀️

Wet start to the week, but the sun appeared towards the end. Greens & fairways cut today & yesterday, holes changed and bunkers raked. Few more trees have been dropped on the 1st hole. Rocastem went out yesterday to get the water through the surface🤌🏼🤌🏼 @terralift @Aitkens_turf

7th green has been vandalised. Becoming the norm at most golf clubs at the minute. Why do people think this is okay?🤔

Course is playing & looking great at the minute, especially for February. Greens have been cut, surrounds had a cut this afternoon. Over hanging branches and limbs removed across the course. Drains rodded at the 10th stream, started painting the fairway marker posts. ⛳️🏌🏽

Course remains closed today, partly due to waterlogged fairways and rough after the thaw, partly due to deep frozen greens.

Cut and a spray of rocastem this morning on the greens. Bunkers raked, holes changed, leaves and debris around the course cleared and a tidy up in the yard all done. Have a good weekend⛳️👍🏼

All greens and temporary greens cut. Followed by an application of rocastem from @terralift. Working a treat with the weather at the minute, and the greens are looking healthy. Work continued on the drainage, with the 8th being completed today.
