We’ve seen the concerns, and it’s important we address this clearly. First: the VATA team did not allocate excess mints to any internal wallets. The only supply minted by the team was 333, intentionally held in the treasury as a long-term reserve. That number was chosen carefully, and we stand by it. From the start, our priority was simple: → make sure wild-list holders were properly served, which is why we maintained a GTD-only mint → ensure a fair public phase where real buyers could participate We structured the mint to reach as many genuine holders as possible, not to concentrate supply. 📍There would be no reason for us to hoard supply to ourselves, only to sell below what it’s actually worth on our public mint. If there were wallets with larger allocations than expected, that was not intentional from our end, and we’re actively reviewing how that happened. We brought in external contributors to help execute parts of the process, trusting they knew better technically and had the space’s best interest at heart. We’re now taking a closer look at that. To be clear: Our CM had zero involvement in allocations or mint distribution. He focused entirely on community, and did an incredible job at it. We didn’t spend months crafting VATA, building its identity, and designing art people genuinely want to represent just to ruin it VATA has always been about something bigger: an idea we’ve sat on for years. We’re here to build something people proudly use as a PFP, something that lasts beyond a mint. We’re reviewing everything closely, tightening processes, and making sure we move forward stronger, with full transparency. More updates soon.
