@v_pradeilles @ichdertom This is why if you need to have multiple view models for every view you keep them alive all together and inject them. But generally I like the 1 view model per screen approach unless there is so much business logic in a single stand alone view.

If the View is at the top-level of your app, then indeed there's no impact. However, if it's a child View created in the body of a parent View, then whenever the body of the parent View is called, the init of the child View is also called. And that's when the init of the child can end up being called more than once during the lifetime of the child View.

My iPhone 11 Pro with the latest official iOS release is becoming unusably slow. Lagging UI, animation glitches, and generally being unresponsive at random times. I know there is no proof (and the battery drama), but it's always right before a new iPhone gets announced.
