There are various good tips on how to get your first order on Fiverr. However, the main one I would say is to go niche into what the category you’re good at. For example, ‘I will create your logo’ - generic and too saturated with 300k competitors ‘I will create your minimalistic logo for your burger restaurant’ - niche and less competitive. It’s more likely you’ll rank higher this way when someone searches for something like this. With the generic approach and with 0 reviews, you’ll be a needle in a haystack.

How to get your first Fiverr order: Choose a niche, don't make a generic gig. E.g. 'I will design your logo for your burger restaurant.' - niche 'I will design your logo' - generic

The most in-demand on Fiverr right now is AI-related gigs. (Surprise surprise😅) So pivot and use AI-related keywords and services. 'I will do your web application' doesn't cut it anymore. Switch to AI automations, AI chatbots, AI agents, etc.

I personally think it’s very rare for a seller to get an order on Fiverr IF they half-assed completing their profile and gigs. For example, really do take the time to write a proper and professional gig description. Don’t do it quickly and then just wish to get an order. Take your time with it, really think about each and every single component. And most importantly, take the time to adequately research the most successful sellers in your niche. This way you can get inspiration as well as a good idea of what a successful gig looks like.
