I made a post yesterday and the internet almost catch fire when i said i make 70k daily when am hawking Agbo in Ibadan.
See if you don't know number sales just come closer and let me open ur eyes to it. My minimum cup of Agbo mixture is 1,500 my Ponmo and pepper meat is 200naira per piece and an average customers eat up to 1k Ponmo on a seat, do you know the population in Ibadan? The community i was hawking in Agbo is very large, i need just 60 customers to meet up my daily target, i do hawk 7 different streets in my community and each streets has 10 loyal customers who patronize me daily, and remember that i am a very neat person so majority of my community prefers to drink my Agbo due to my neatness, dressing and playful spirit. You see those street hawkers you are looking down some are very rich and can make ur salary in a week or days especially those selling food. Just be an open mind and understand how shameless marketing works i swear you go pack money tire! Oko poly won't teach you this oh.

Dangerous driving and conviction
Yes—this can have an impact, but it depends on the seriousness and timing. Here’s how it’s usually looked at in UK immigration decisions:
⸻
1. For Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
The UK Home Office checks your “good character” and conduct, but ILR decisions are generally less strict than citizenship.
• A CD10 (careless driving) offence with:
• 6 penalty points
• £300 fine from a Magistrates’ Court
👉 This is considered a non-custodial offence (no prison).
Likely impact:
• Usually NOT an automatic refusal for ILR
• However, it can be considered negative behaviour
• If it’s a one-off incident, most applicants are still approved
Risk increases if:
• You have multiple offences
• You recently committed the offence
• You didn’t pay the fine or comply with the court
⸻
2. For British Citizenship (Naturalisation)
This is stricter under the “good character requirement.”
The UK Home Office will assess:
Key issue: Criminal conviction
A Magistrates’ Court fine counts as a criminal conviction.
Important rule:
• If you received a fine, the Home Office may refuse citizenship if:
• The conviction is recent (usually within last 3 years)
So in your case:
• £300 fine = recorded conviction
• You may need to wait before applying
⸻
3. Rehabilitation Period (Important)
Under UK rules, a fine becomes “spent” after 1 year (under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974).
But for citizenship, the Home Office may still consider it beyond that.
👉 Practical guidance:
• Wait at least 3 years from the date of conviction before applying for citizenship to be safe
