When I found out Kat was pregnant I was terrified, like I had no idea what to do. But everyday I love Easton more and more. God’s blessed me with so much and he’s my biggest blessing. I can’t wait to finally meet you little man. ❤️

@pntrack @BrettLawrence I’m a purist, so I’m not a fan of the shot clock anyway. I just don’t think it’s going to have that much of a positive effect across Illinois as people think it will. Those reasons you mentioned being my biggest gripes.

@lance_jamie @BrettLawrence I agree. The shot clock can actually lengthen possessions. In addition, it increases the number of desperation shots due to the clock approaching zero. The only desperation shots now are at the end of the 4 quarters.

What has happened to H.S. basketball? In the 4 IHSA state championship games, teams averaged only 47.6 ppg. My high school basketball team (Oswego 1975-76) averaged 82.3 ppg and scored over 100 5x. In 1971-72 Thornridge (33-0), featuring Quinn Buckner, averaged over 90 ppg.

@BrettLawrence @pntrack Not sure a shot clock would’ve helped in the Goreville-Marshall 52-44 game though. The shot clock isn’t an immediate “fix”. I’m not sure I watched a game (me personally) that a shot clock would’ve affected the score/outcome.
