Totally agree. The best stories deserve the best writers to tell them, & @lancejohnhardy has created a richly evocative document of one of the most memorable chapters in British football history. 50th anniversary of #SAFC's cup run in 2023. I hope the book gets renewed attention.

I can heartily recommend this book by [@lancejohnhardy] as an intelligently fascinating read which does not simply 'go through the numbers' of trotting out familar, well-worn incidents; instead, it provides new insights and angles on #Sunderland's momentous football achievement.
