but also lance… god he’s just so gentle with people the way he listens the way he knows exactly what to say (or not say) to calm someone down he’s that person you go to when everything feels too much he carries people and never asks for anything back

this scene means so much to me because it shifts everything about keith and lance’s dynamic you really see how much keith leans on lance not just loves him but trusts him to hold him together when he can’t do it himself and it says so much about how far they’ve come
