@I_am_PapaJohn @TheDestinAdams I mean the dude has shown he can’t stay healthy which sucks. But even when he plays he can’t make easy throws. He can make some of the most crazy plays but can’t complete a 5 yard out. I’m sorry but that doesn’t make it in the NFL.

@droppedballspod I’m just hesitant to give a guy a lot of money coming off that injury. He played well until he got injured but that’s a tough injury. I would say Ballard will because that’s all he has to save his job another year.

@landant_3 I think DJ and his agent are smart enough to know a 1 year deal isn’t smart for them to do coming off an Achilles. The least they would probably accept is a 2 year deal.

Here’s what I believe the Colts should do if they keep DJ and Pierce. Daniel Jones: 3 years $76.5M ($25.5 AAV) $30M guaranteed at signing, $40M fully guaranteed Alec Pierce: 3 years $60M ($20M AAV) $30M at signing and $40M fully guaranteed Some contracts would have to moved/extended though to free up cap space.

If Jones can't go, idk what else the colts can do, especially since AR won't be ready for a little longer

The NFL continues to use replay to correct some calls but not to correct obvious missed calls. This creates a credibility problem. When replay is used to move the spot of a ball 6 inches or used to see if the QB’s knee touched the ground— but can’t be used to see if he was tripped or can’t be used to see if the clock is at :00 when players are pointing to the clock it creates issues. We either need to correct ALL OBVIOUS missed calls or we need to let the officials call the games on the field and live with it

@nerlens_ When you are on the field the whole game, you are going to allow yards. Offense went 3 and out way to many times down the stretch.

“But they could’ve stopped them!” Yes, absolutely. They’re not absolved of allowing 20+ points, but man they were set up for failure in the 4th quarter on. 500 yards surrendered is bad no matter how you shake it, I won’t deny that. Game doesn’t go to OT without D’s GL stop.

Hard to place any blame on the #Colts defense. They played their asses off. Chiefs offense basically doubled Indy in total plays (91-50). Colts offense had an 11-point lead entering the 4th quarter, proceeded to rattle off four straight 3-and-outs. A humbling.

The Colts barely held the ball this game… Chiefs had double the plays. Incredible effort from the D. JT not running the ball on B2B drives… Shane called plays not to lose, when one of his best qualities was having some nuts… An abysmal loss, what an ugly game.

@SconnieColt Does it really matter? Our defense was on the field the whole game. Offense has to play a lot better. Plain and simple
