The team is expanding. Since the exploit, the team has been working hard to review and improve all mining contracts while delivering new features like Staking and the How to Play page. Even more features are on the way. Land V2 will be live today, and mining will return on Monday due to the mandatory 48 hour lock window for any contract changes. This safeguard was designed to prevent malicious owners from changing algorithms without notice. Once mining resumes, 100% of protocol fees will be returned to holders: - 75% will be used to buy back $LAND - 20% will be distributed as $ETH rewards to stakers - 5% will be allocated as incentives for top protocol users, with more details coming soon $LAND is just getting started.

Staking is now live! Since mining is halted and the project isn't yet generating any revenue, we are conducting a retroactive airdrop paid in ETH to everyone who stakes before it starts receiving rewards. How it works: - You stake supply. - Snapshots will be taken at random hours over the next 4 days. - Once rewards go live, 33% of total staking revenue will be routed to a dedicated contract. - That ETH will be airdropped to snapshot eligible stakers covering 4 days total: 2 days while mining was halted + 2 days while rewards accumulate in the contract. A few hours ago we detected attacker bots exploiting an economic edge in the bootstrap window of WorldMiner the TWAP oracle hadn't accumulated enough observations yet, which left the genesis price pinned to its starting floor and made early continent mining temporarily over‑profitable. Team noticed this and responded in minutes. We have paused mining accrual on every continent to effectively zero. The vulnerability has been patched and the fix is live on-chain. What this means: - The LAND token was never compromised. No exploit on the token contract, no unauthorized mint, no upgrade needed. - LAND in your wallet is unaffected. Balances, transfers, and approvals all unchanged. - Protocol keys are uncompromised. We retain full owner control of the protocol. - The exploit was economic, not technical, and it is now neutralized. We are working to deploy a new and fully safe mining algorithm within the next 48 hours. We are also using this window to study and ship more exciting mechanics that make the protocol better to play and more rewarding to be part of. The team is all hands on deck to turn this into a real upgrade for everyone walking the LAND journey with us.
