To celebrate, staff and students greeted each other in a different language and we ran the MFL Photo Booth at Brunch and Lunch. We also launched 4 competitions - so get involved

As well as Open Evening, today was an incredibly special day as we celebrated European Day of Languages across the school. At SHS, we love learning languages and are proud of the Languages provision that we offer.

We are so proud of our faculty and all of the students in it. They did us proud tonight by being waiters/waitresses, talking about our curriculum, selling our subject and being ambassadors for our school. Well done all ❤️🇫🇷🇪🇸⭐️

We are currently so excited to be planning our Barcelona, Paris and Cologne trips for 2025! In addition our German exchange arrive next week and our French KS4/5 trip goes out next month, along with our German exchange returning to Fellbach. #AGSBLoveOfLearning

We're trying to find more opportunities to talk to our students about Independent Learning (homework). We are regularly referencing the science of learning & why the more retrieval they do, the better for their learning. We've added upcoming retrieval activities to the LO slide.

The lessons for the new Edexcel GCSE are working like a treat in class. Here is the latest addition to TES: “¡Disfrutamos al máximo!” 🥳 It includes a ppt with tasks & vocab aligned with the new spec + audio files & matching worksheets. Let us know if you’d like to check it out
