Honest Question for My Orthodox Christian Friends How can a woman in a leadership role as a civil servant live out true Christian submission? I’ve spent 35 years working my way up in public service, and I’ve only been seriously following the Orthodox Church for the past three years. I love my work and the responsibility that comes with it, but I’m wrestling with how to reconcile being a decisive leader in my professional life with the Orthodox call to humility, obedience, and submission. Can one be a strong, competent female leader while still embodying the submissive spirit expected of an Orthodox Christian woman? I’m not looking to rebel against Church teaching — I genuinely want to grow in faith. Any wisdom, Scripture references, or practical examples from those who have navigated leadership roles while staying faithful would be deeply appreciated.

@policelawnews The video I saw of Boston PD training for and actually subduing a knife attacker was from around 2013. Wish I could find it now. It's really just the human equivalent of trained hunting dogs surrounding and wearing down a tiger. Just my 2 cents.

@policelawnews Cops are often not first responders to knife attacks there. Additionally, there is actually a lot of paper work if you draw or fire your weapon, so the cops there, who are lazy and worthless for the most part, slow roll to the extreme and do not engage with attackers.
