@LegendaryJoe Your pen is always misfiring. We are not fools. It's just that you are in the privileged position. All you said are trash! There is nothing superb in Tinubu removing subsidy. Unfortunately, there is no concrete plan after the removal. Nigerians suffer more.

Subsidy removed in 2023. Just as every major candidate promised it would be. The crisis in Iran has caused a major upset in the global oil market. Both events clearly responsible for for the hike in the pump price of fuel... So before you condemn thr status-quo - Let's also examine the ante-bellum... The question is - What, exactly, would your candidate have done differently?

Bismillah Between last night and this moment, I have chanced upon numerous discussions concerning Muhammad bn Abdil Wahhab, his seminal work Kitaabu Tawheed, the Hadith of iftiraaq, and several related and unrelated discourses In the process, I encountered a plethora of refutations & counter refutations addressing the misrepresented claims against the book and its author. Baarakallahu feekum Ikhwah! To begin with, Kitaabu Tawheed comprises over 160 chapters that were/are meticulously structured around core theological themes aimed at explicating the doctrine of divine unity as conveyed by Allah & his prophet. For someone to open his mouth Gbaga or use is hand to title a book “The book of monotheism”, he is methodologically obligated to substantiate each assertion with incontrovertible textual evidence from the Quran & authentic Hadith. With all the misinformation flying around, one might assume that the author hermeneutically distorted the verses of the Quran or cited weak and unreliable hadith as evidentiary support. Perhaps so that people won’t say imam Muhammad bn abdilwahab(the author) said rubbish in his book, he deliberately refrained from inserting his personal exegesis in ALL the chapters. Allahu Akbar, once he presents a chapter heading, he followed it directly with “Allah says…” & “The prophet said…”. Take for instance, imam said “chapter: Explanation of Tawheed and laailaha illaLLAH”. You’d think he wants to use his own words to explain. The first thing you’d find under the heading are 5 different verses, followed immediately by a Hadith: من قال لا إله إلا الله ، وكفر بما يعبد من دون الله، حرم ماله ودمه، وحسابه على الله تعالى "He who professes that there is no true god except Allah and denies of everything which the people worship besides Allah, his property and blood become inviolable, and it is for Allah to call him to account" Having engaged with the book on multiple occasions, I contend that no sincere Muslim would find fault with the book except one who falls into 1 or more of these categories: An uninformed or deficient muslim who still harbors vestiges of shirk. One who invokes deceased scholars or saints during times of distress. One who subscribes to a form of religious pluralism that equates all religions as equally valid. 4. One who engages in occult practices Abi magic and erroneously labels them as Karaamat. 5. One who frequently patronizes or practices soothsaying and divination. 6. Even more explicitly, anyone who is drooling in outright shirk, to mention only but a few. Perhaps the most reprehensible category to me are those those who have not even perused the book but hastily formulate their conclusions based on the polemics of partisan critics. I therefore challenge any critic of the book to produce a single chapter in which the author demonstrably misquotes a verse or hadith, or relies upon spurious narrations. Furthermore,Imam Idris A oni(PhD) has written extensively in critique of the book, yet has not, to my best of knowledge, recommended an alternative text that systematically teaches Tawheed. He is also yet to identify a specific chapter that ostensibly promotes extremism or terrorism, accompanied by a substantiated analytical critique. If I were to undertake a critique of any work, without necessarily attaining the highest pinnacle of learning, I would adopt a methodologically sound approach. I’ll first thoroughly read the text, isolate specific passages or statements warranting critique, and then refute them with superior evidence and scholarly precision. For instance, if I want to critique the statement attributed to sheikh Ibrahim Niass in a work titled تحصيل الأماني Sheikh Ibrahim said: ومن يحبني ومن يراني في جنة الخلد بلا بهتان إذ أنني خليفة التجاني موهبة من أحمد العدناني “Whoever loves me and sees me shall be in the eternal Paradise without any false claim, for indeed I am the successor of Ahmad Tijaani, a gift from Ahmad Al-Adnaani (the Prophet).”

In critically evaluating such a claim, I’ll first argue that neither sheikh Ahmad nor sheikh Ibrahim were from the Companions. Moreover, neither the Prophet nor his Companions ever made such unconditional assurances of Paradise. On the contrary, the Prophet cautioned his own daughter, Fatimah, that her lineage alone would not avail her on the day of Judgment without righteous deeds. Additionally, during the Prophet’s lifetime, a man arrogantly claimed that if paradise truly existed, he would enter it in a state of affluence lol. Allah responded with a stern repudiation in suratu Maryam. With that, I have been able to establish a precedent against unwarranted claims of guaranteed salvation. Had Sheikh Ibrahim not made such a statement, would Sheikh Nur Hakeem have spoken of him with such lofty praise and eloquent admiration? Sheikh Nur Hakeem said: 1. ﻳﺎ ﺍﻟﺸﻴﺦ ﺇﺑﺮﺍﻫﻴﻢ ﻏﻮﺙ ﻟﻠﻮﺍﺭﻯ ## ﻏﺜﻨﻰ ﺑﻐﻴﺜﻚ ﻓﺎﻟﻤﻨﻰ ﺗﻨﻔﻰ ﺍﻟﻜﺮﻯ O Sheikh Ibrahim, succour of the WORLD, Relieve me with your aid, for longings dispel all weariness. 2. ﻣﻦ ﺩﻭﻥ ﻓﻀﻠﻚ ﻻﺃُ ﺃَﻫﻞ ﻟﻠﺘﻨﺎ ## ﻭﻟﺤﺎﺟﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻓﺮﻁ ﺫﻧﺐ ﻗﺪﺟﺮﻯ Apart from YOUR grace, I possess no worthiness for attainment, Nor for the fulfillment of needs, burdened as I am by abundant sins. 3. ﻟﻜﻨﻨﻰ ﺃﻋﺪﺩﺕ ﺣﺒﻚ ﺳﻴّﺪﻯ ## ﻓﺒﺬﺍﻙ ﻓﺎﻟﺤﺎﺟﺎﺕ ﻣﻘﻀﻰ ﻻ ﻣﺮﻯ Yet I have made your love, my master(sheikh Ibrahim), my provision, And by it, ALL needs are fulfilled without doubt or contention. 4. ﺇﺫ ﺃﻧﺖ ﻋﻴﻦ ﺍﻟﻌﻴﻦ ﻣﻦ ﻫﻮ ﻋﻠﺔ ## ﻟﻠﻜﻮﻥ ﻣﻦ ﻟﻮﻻﻩ ﻛﻞ ﻻ ﻳﺮﻯ For you(sheikh Ibrahim) are the REALITY of the very source of the One who is the cause Of all existence. He without whom nothing would ever be brought into manifestation or seen. However, since my objective here is not to go deeply into the statements of sheikh Ibrahim Niyaas or related personalities, I’ll pause here. The discussion on the Hadith of the 73 sects will be reserved for another occasion, in shaa Allah

Only him had used deep poverty to cure problems Fuel queues — gone. because he took fuel drive from 160 to 1400 in just 3 years. Let’s see if your father can afford it let alone queue for it ASUU strikes — gone. He captured the agency, dissolved all bodies, took away educational fundings. Within 3 years, most schools had more than 300% increase in school fees. Poor man dropping from school. Yet no one could speak for them because he destroyed all the agencies that can speak before hitting them with pain State bankruptcies — Worsening. We just kept borrowing more and more WITH NO RESULT. Before, if govt borrows, they’ll try to do something for citizens before stealing the rest. This one steals with impunity. Award 3.3 trillion to power (the same) project 3 times in 3 years with nothing better. Electricity — people now pay more than 300% increase for the same uselessness. An average Nigeria can’t even guarantee a 12 hour electricity in a day. With all the money said to have been pumped in this sector. This is a big shame. Insecurity — Worse than ever before. Now police don’t even interfere in kidnapping again. They just ask you to pay ransom. Private sector exits — Worsened. Almost all companies had exited Nigeria NGX decline — Naira had gone all time low. He took it from about 400 to 1400. More than 300% decrease Food inflation — so bad than a Tiber of yam has to be cut in slices for Nigerians to be able to afford it. I didn’t even know how much of a failure this man is until I realized you didn’t even have anything good he did to campaign. This is the Worst President ever in the history of Nigeria. We all should be angry and ensure he doesn’t see that sit again
Osas@osazenoo

Only he has shown the will to tackle problems that lingered for decades and the results are beginning to speak. Fuel queues — gone. ASUU strikes — gone. State bankruptcies — easing. Subsidy wastage — eliminated. Electricity — being decentralized. Insecurity — state policing in motion. Private sector exits — reversing. NGX decline — stabilizing. Crude oil output — improving. Food inflation — trending downward. It’s not just promises anymore; it’s visible shifts across critical sectors.

Re: Blacklisting of Kitāb al-Tawḥīd by Shaykh Muḥammad bin ʿAbd al-Wahhāb -rahimahulLāh- I recently came across a post on X that blacklisted Kitāb al-Tawḥīd of Shaykh Muḥammad bin ʿAbd al-Wahhāb on the basis of flimsy reasons and watery, unsubstantiated allegations. Such attempts are not new; several similar efforts have been made in the past, all of which have failed, and this latest one is likewise destined to fail. What I have recently observed is that most of those who pass such judgments on this blessed book are either ignorant of its contents, which consist primarily of direct quotations from the Qurʾān, the Sunnah, and the statements of the pious predecessors (al-salaf al-ṣāliḥ), or they are deliberate mischief-makers whose views are shaped by premeditated sectarian biases. In my opinion, the most effective response to such individuals is not to engage in direct refutation of their claims, but rather to promote the teaching of the book itself. In this way, those who are genuinely curious about its contents can become enlightened and properly educated. It is for this reason that I recommend the Yoruba-language explanation of Kitāb al-Tawḥīd delivered by Shaykh Professor ʿAbd al-Razzāq A. Alaro, mni. Those who wish to benefit from the book in the Yoruba language may access the weekly classes on the Facebook page of the Assunnah Academy of Daʿwah. Previous classes are available via the following link: (drive.google.com/drive/folders/…) A pertinent illustration of this approach is the popular story of a scholar who had long been a vocal critic of Shaykh Muḥammad bin ʿAbd al-Wahhāb, having formed his opinion solely on the basis of reports he had heard from the Shaykh’s opponents. After some time, one of his students travelled to Saudi Arabia for advanced Islamic studies, which afforded him the opportunity for direct engagement with the Shaykh’s works under qualified teachers. During the holidays, the student presented Kitāb al-Tawḥīd to his teacher after first removing the cover pages that bore the author’s name. Upon returning later to inquire about his teacher’s opinion, he found that the scholar had expressed profound satisfaction with the book, remarking that it consisted entirely of Qāla Allāhu (“Allah says”) and Qāla al-Rasūl (“the Prophet says”). The teacher showered high praise upon whoever had authored such an excellent work. Only then did the student reveal the true identity of the author. From that moment onward, the teacher ceased his criticism of Shaykh Muḥammad bin ʿAbd al-Wahhāb. A similar historical incident occurred between ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Mubārak and his teacher al-Awzāʿī. The latter had been a strong critic of Imām Abū Ḥanīfah on the basis of hearsay. This attitude persisted until Ibn al-Mubārak returned from Kūfah bearing some of the books he had studied under Abū Ḥanīfah and presented them to al-Awzāʿī without disclosing the author’s identity. The full account of the story, as narrated in Tārīkh Dimashq by Ibn ʿAsākir (32/399), is as follows: "Al-Faḍl ibn ʿAbd al-Jabbār reported to us, saying: I heard Abū ʿUthmān Ḥamdūn ibn Abī al-Ṭūsī say: I heard ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Mubārak say: “I travelled to Syria to meet al-Awzāʿī and found him in Beirut. He said to me, ‘O Khurāsānī, who is this man who has appeared in Kūfa?’ -meaning Abū Ḥanīfa. “So I returned to my lodging, took up the books of Abū Ḥanīfa, and extracted from them some of his finest legal opinions. I spent three days occupied with them. “On the third day I went back to him. He was the muʾadhdhin and imam of their mosque, and I had the book in my hand. He asked, ‘What is this book?’ I handed it to him. “He opened it and looked at one of the issues I had marked, which read: ‘al-Nuʿmān ibn Thābit.’ After giving the adhān, he remained standing and read the opening section of the book. Then he placed it in his sleeve, stood up and led the prayer. After the prayer he took the book out again and continued reading until he reached that same issue. “Then he said to me, ‘O Khurāsānī, who is this al-Nuʿmān ibn Thābit?’ “I replied, ‘A scholar I met in Iraq.’ “He said, ‘This is a noble man among the scholars. Go and learn as much as you can from him.’ “I said, ‘This is Abū Ḥanīfa, the very one you warned me against.’”. End of quote. Abdul Qowiyy Olalekan Badmus

Peace be unto you too… I promised to address this earlier. The delay is just due to my tight schedule. This is not a topic you can answer with a single tweet. It is an ideological battle, and you cannot fight it with a shallow response. When the article drops, I am breaking down every nuance. We are going to expose the deep hypocrisy of those who use this specific marriage as bait. I will trace the timeline of this propaganda. When did the outrage begin? Who were the specific people that started it? Who gave it publicity and what is their real motive? All of this will be laid bare. Then I will analyze every nuance of their school of taught, their double standards with clear evidence on why it is falsehood and propaganda. You will also see a breakdown of the poor defenses made by some Muslims today. You see people trying to bend our history just to fit into a modern Western standard. I will shed light on their historical errors and show why their apologetic answers collapse under scrutiny. Then we go straight to the core and merit of the question. The answers. The authentic position of Islam. I am bringing what the classical scholars of Hadith, Fiqh, and history documented about this. You cannot fight a generational lie with a quick paragraph. The full breakdown is coming soon by the grace of the Almighty. Keep watch.

Hello Lola, I am a Muslim, and our spiritual tradition has a very deep approach to raising children. I want to share some tips from our scholars that will be beneficial to you regardless of your faith. First of all, our theology teaches the concept of Fitrah. This means that every child is born with a pure heart. At six years old, she is not a criminal mastermind. She does not have a wicked soul. If she doesn’t have all these, then what is happening? The truth is that she is just lacking impulse control and testing boundaries. By this, if you look at her as a manipulator, you will fight her. However, if you look at her as a pure soul making mistakes, you will be able to guide her. Secondly, for every problem anyone faces today, it has been solved in history. The only problem is how to locate them. A classical scholar named Al-Ghazali wrote about child psychology over 900 years ago in his famous book “Ihya Ulum al-Din.” In his section on disciplining children, he gave a practical rule I want you to adopt going forward. He advised that parents should never push a child into a corner where they are forced to lie. When you ask a question you already know the answer to, her survival instinct kicks in. She cries and she lies to defend herself because she is scared of you. Stop interrogating her. Just look at her and state the fact. Say, I know you took this, and we are going to return it right now. Again, another scholar and sociologist Ibn Khaldun addressed this exact behavior in his masterpiece titled: “Al-Muqaddimah.” He warned that when a child is raised with harsh punishment, they learn deceit, trickery, and lying to protect themselves. This is why she is covering her tracks and crying to manipulate you. The fear of a harsh reaction is making her a better liar. Lola, do not attach a label to her. Do not ever call her a thief. If you attack her identity instead of her action, she will internalize it and grow into that dark label. Tell her the action is wrong but protect her dignity. Make her return the item. Do not fall for the tears. Hold her hand, walk her back to wherever she took it from, and make her hand it back and apologize. The discomfort of returning a stolen item teaches a much better lesson than beating her will ever do. Finally, I don’t know if you are a Muslim, but never underestimate the power of your own words. In our faith, we believe the prayer of a parent for a child goes straight to God without any barrier. Pray over her. Pray for her heart to be content and for her character to be straight. Keep doing this consistently and the habit will break. Allah knows best.
Lola💎@ComfortLolaa

How do I stop a child from stealing? She’s just 6 years old, but she steals like an expert, covers her tracks perfectly, and denies it with teary eyes so much that you start to feel bad for her and even second-guess yourself as an adult.
