@kenmoriyasu India needs peace till 2050. Play wherever you want. We are not participants in any games, and we don't want to be participants in any geopolitical games until 2050/2055. Until then, enjoy 👍

The Quad is dead. It is dead because great power competition isn’t centered in the Indo-Pacific anymore. It’s shifting to the Eurasian Heartland, where China and Russia are building a fortress of pipelines, railways, and overland trade routes—beyond the reach of the U.S. Navy. India may host a BRICS meeting to offset Pakistan’s renewed visibility. But geography is unforgiving: the Himalayas cut India off from China, leaving it peripheral to Beijing’s continental strategy. That’s the real tragedy—India matters, just not where the game is now being played. scmp.com/news/china/art…

Communist China is partnering with Iran, buying their oil, supplying them with weapons, and actively funding their nuclear program. They are our enemy and a clear threat to our national security.   If blocking the Strait of Hormuz will stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon while destroying China’s economy, then so be it. America will come out SAFER and STRONGER in the end.
Semafor@semafor

"I think blocking the Strait of Hormuz is fine from my standpoint," @SenRickScott tells @burgessev. “If no oil ever goes to China again, and their economy is destroyed, that would be a really wonderful day for me."

@CleansedTweets Maybe so, but Thais tend to have skin scent that is like musty, leather and not in a good way, at least to my nose. You notice it in lifts and on MRT/BTS I have definitely smelled stinky armpits on Chinese and very commonly Indians. At least farang skin isn't stinky

Position 1 - China does not believe in peaceful co-existence with its neighbours. Position 2- China believes its neighbours should be its tributaries. Position 3- Re Point 1, China covets territories of its neighbours, and claims international seas as its own pond. Position 4- China weaponises trade, tourism, supply chains.

What a waste of time. China is gonna bank with who it wants to bank with. They can appoint 1-2 banks that are isolated from global capital markets to deal with Iran. Same as they do with Russia. Here’s an idea.. let’s focus on getting Americans healthcare coverage lower.
DD Geopolitics@DD_Geopolitics

They're sanctioning banks now.... the desperation is real. Scott Bessent: "Two Chinese banks received letters from the U.S. Treasury... If we can prove that there is Iranian money flowing through your accounts then we are willing to put on secondary sanctions."

These past few years have given everyone an incredible opportunity to see what lies beneath the mask. From their standpoint, I suppose it’s a logical move. They used to pretend to be friends of the Chinese people, speaking directly to them about “liberating” them. Now that the absurdity of this farce is comically obvious, there’s no point keeping up the act. They can finally admit what they always wanted: to destroy China and the livelihoods of its people.

“I think blocking the Strait of Hormuz is fine…if no oil ever goes to China again, and their economy is destroyed, that would be a really wonderful day for me." -Senator Rick Scott The US’ playbook as a responsible hegemon promoting global stability is to try and destroy the second largest economy in the world, China🇨🇳, to unleash a global economic depression… If there has ever been a clearer indication for the need for a multipolar world, it’s this.

Why Did China Buy Up the World’s Ports? Beijing is less focused on acquiring sovereign control, more so in assuring its own strategic security. "China has been patiently investing in all corners of the world, to its economic, diplomatic, & geopolitical benefit." foreignpolicy.com/2026/04/15/chi…

No one in India is surprised that the Western world is far better developed in City Infrastructure, Cleanliness and Traffic. Now many of us are discovering that even smaller countries which are not very rich like West - Sri Lanka & Bhutan in our neighbourhood, East Asia (Vietnam, Indonesia, Phillipines), CIS Countries (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Georgia etc) are also have far cleaner and better managed Cities than India. This shows the huge failure of Municipal Corporations, PWD Departments and other Civic Management Agencies. Here are some pics of Dushanbe (Tajikistan) shared by someone yesterday. By no means does the capital city look like a less developed nation.

Yes, this is also increasingly becoming my view. China isn’t going to become high income as much as the rest of the developed world will converge with China’s income levels. It’s going to be extremely unpleasant for them.
blackwindmnt2@blackwindmnt2

@PAstynome I have said for years, china won't get into the so-called high income country bracket. Because they will rugpull the whole high income bracket into mid or low income status.
