Despite the reduction of the budget of the OVP, The House has been generous in giving VPSara a budget that is still more than the budget given to VPLeni for her last year in office. Despite the difficulties VPLeni faced from PDu30 administration, she still was an effective VP.

@erintanada That's not justified and it's wrong. Why cut the budget intended to help our people with regard to education simply because they have issues with the secretary?

The Philippine Constitution has more or less 21,542 words. Like any other constitution, it contains principles, aspirational words and commands. It is wrong to just say divorce is prohibited under the constitution because of one single word "inviolable" referring to marriage. Constitutional interpretation requires a wholistic consideration of all the significant content of that fundamental law to know its full meaning and nuances. We cannot isolate one word from the rest.

@deanmelofficial We've had this reoccurring problem for many years not just 2 years ago. Every administration past and present hasn't done a good job at it not even decent.

Correct me if I am wrong in relation to these figures. In 2023, the government had P185 Billion for Flood Management Program and for this year 2024, it was P244.6 Billion (from a proposed P215.64 Billion). If that is true, bakit sobrang tindi pa rin ng baha? Ano ang nangyari sa pera? Bakit sa nakikita natin sa news, parang walang pagbabago ang situation ng flooding?

Sa Pilipinas pwedeng putulin ang kasal through NULLITY of Marriage (walang bisa nung umpisa pa) or through ANNULMENT ( may bisa hanggat maputol). Kailang sa dalawang ito patunayan na ang dahilan ng pagputol ay nag-e-exist na nung kinakasal pa lang.
