The West is not safe for as long for as long as Jihadists exist in any proximity to us.
The only humane way to deal with Gaza is:
Evacuate all kids (period).
Evacuate all the adults who value their lives more than they value Jihad.
Bulldoze the rest.
Why should we bankroll the existence of people whose only return on investment is that they produce global terror and have fully normalized the practice of honor killing their daughters for not wearing hijab and throwing their sons off of roofs for being gay?
Why should we have to ensure the lives of people who have killed us and say they will do it again when given the chance?
