@lara_tutton @SophieBenson_ As a fashion journalist who made the switch to in-brand a decade ago, I agree! journalism is either appallingly badly paid (in house) or appallingly intermittently paid (FL), and if you want to earn/career prospects, and to write about fashion, what other options are there?

@SophieBenson_ The state of fashion is such a ‘two steps forward, one step back’ economy right now. As fast as activists can publish tools like The UN sustainable fashion playbook, journalists are jumping ship straight to make fashion’s super polluters look good
