If instead, you design a study that embraces the variability of emotion in the real world, you find results that generalize to the real world.

Facial movements are unreliable signals of people’s emotions. After over two years reviewing over 1000 papers with Lisa Feldman Barrett, Aleix Martinez, Ralph Adolphs and Stacy Marsella our paper is finally out this morning! @BLSlichens Hi! Any thoughts on which species of Cladonia these are? I found them in the North Pennines and wondered about Cladonia borealis, but realise they are rare in England. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
