@JayWright23 True. Same goes for most sports, from local comps to school games to the pro’s, we (and most other states) tend to be far more engaged when winning than losing. Normal human reaction really. I am fascinated by the mums pushing their kids to play basketball rather than footy.

@larathom The problem is Sydney siders only go to games when there teams are winning. When they aren’t winning they drop off. Basketball always been big in this country. Just didn’t have the right people running the joint.

Basketball in Australia is entering a new era. I started watching because my kids were playing, am now a genuine fan from local to NBL.11,746 people at a game is legit fandom. The Chicago Bulls average 20,881 per game, Qudos has a capacity of 21k, not bad Sydney! Not bad at all!
