@Osint613 These are our “leaders.” Math….math is now apparently fake news

@PaulCharchian @MeatSauce1 Every day that they don’t sell becomes the new worst day in franchise history.
English

"What we've been through"!? The Pohlad family is entirely to blame for the fan revolt that has finally (finally!) taken root in Minnesota after years of mismanagement, price gouging, roster purges, poor play and the final insult, rescinding the decision to sell the club.

Pat Borzi@BorzMN
Tom Pohlad took on the toughest job in Twin Cities sports, trying to repair the images of the @twins and his family amid hurricane-strength headwinds from angry fans. He knows it'll take a lot more than $2 beers and free tickets to change hardened minds. (Link to follow.) 1/
English

@nacholeber @MeatSauce1 That would be fantastic were it to occur.
English

@terryjt1 @sportsahal OK, I see. This is a “ownership deserves a better fan base,” argument, which is hilarious
English

@PaulCharchian Agree 100%. If the relationship is to be repaired, let them invest in the team on a consistent basis. Every new day they own the team becomes the worst day in franchise history.
English

What have the fans done wrong to break the relationship, and why do fans have to do anything to repair it? We paid for the Pohlad’s stadium. We drank their $15 beer. We paid their ticket service fees. We devoted time and care to substandard rosters. We’ve done plenty.

@handsometuesda9 Returning AA from NDSU fist round then Millard on top of that. 🔥🔥
English

@DomClare This has been going on for longer than NIL has been a thing. In Minnesota, you see it a lot in sixth grade because kids can be a varsity athlete starting in seventh grade.
English

@visionquestpod Would Mesenbrink have done this had Caliendo won in the finals? 🧐
English

Not sure why this bothers so many. Caliendo is not obligated to shake anyone's hand. He stayed still and looked forward. Why are people shocked?? Ever lose to a guy 9 times and in the NCAA finals twice? Ya, I'd be bitter too.
Dylan Palacio@greentoepalacio
This clip is legitimately frying me 😭
English

@10k_Takes It's not customary for somebody to do what Messenbrink did. Messenbrink is also known to be a troll at times and while I can't say for sure that's what it was here, it could be. Caliendo's dream had just been crushed and they shook hands 10 minutes earlier after the match.
English

@Twinswin77 @TonyLiebert Sure have. Dustin Schlatter probably was the last Freshman. True Freshman also in 2006.
English

@TonyLiebert I know Gable was a sophomore when he won his first championship. Has MN ever had a freshman win?

Max McEnelly is the 19th different wrestler to win an individual national championship at the University of Minnesota.
Bring Me The Sports@BMTNSports
Max McEnelly won the first 184-pound national title in Gophers wrestling history on Saturday night. Read more: si.com/college/minnes…

@johnnidijulius @VNcaas Correct. I have said this for years and it really shows up when somebody is getting dominated from the bottom position. Sometimes you are not stalling as much as just getting your ass kicked.
English

@John8926589 @GregBur41977843 @MatScouts1 @NCAAWrestling That I agree with. Should have let it continue.
English

I have just lost all faith in @NCAAWrestling Wrestling officiating.
utterly fucking awful.
what the fuck is happening?
Many times when i'm hard on officials i feel guilty.
Never again. This is a fucking clown show.
English

@GregBur41977843 @MatScouts1 @NCAAWrestling He didn’t have his hands locked when the takedown was called. He wasn’t about to go to his back.
English

@MatScouts1 @NCAAWrestling The ref awarded a TD and then stopped the match with Duke having a cradle locked up and about to take him to his back. The TD is taken away. Had action been allowed to continue Duke gets the TD. Horrible officiating
