@juanluisback @TerraMeijar Interesting conversation... Thanks @juanluisback. In the short term, there are going to be teething pains particularly for startups and the traditional employers. But in the long term, there's no question that this raises the floor for everyone and is a net positive.

Many FAANG & big tech companies are setting up shop in Nairobi, Kenya. The latest is Google. Companies used to mistreating I.T staff or viewing them as a cost center are going to have a rude awakening. They are about to find out how valuable I.T/Devs are to their operations.

So #MSBuild runs a session called "Connect with Microsoft in Africa and your local dev community" however its focus is on Nigeria. I'm all for promoting African development but the session is not inclusive of all African dev communities. Where is the connect bit?
