@SmallerFishGAA Brian Flanagans management of the U20 teams and now in his 2nd year as Senior Manager has been excellent . Yes we lost to Louth last year but he went away learned from it and has come back stronger. Currently out with injury are 7 senior players 2 of those are Dalton and Kirwan.

Kildare are flying it with the (very) young lads They currently have more players on the senior team from last years U20 team that lost badly to Meath (6)... ...than they have from the All Ireland U20 winning team in 2023 (4) It's a funny old game

@SmallerFishGAA I would like to see Eamon’s reaction if it happened to his club or county and cost them an All Ireland , I think his reaction would be a lot different. 😉

Sometimes, it can be hard to tell" They brought in a rule where these refereeing mistakes are punishing teams with 2 points. Teams lost club Munster finals and All Ireland semi finals from winning positions because of a terrible rule and terrible referees interpretation of the terrible rule. And Eamon is wondering if the outrage is genuine. Shows how these lads on the FRC treat criticism of their rules. Imagine Jim Gavin

@SmallerFishGAA Agree 1 million % its a dreadful rule and the punishment does not fit the so called “crime” it has cost Finbarr’s and Sallins. Darragh O Se was asked his opinion on the decision on the Sallins v An Gaeltacht game and he said “ totally wrong call by the ref” “ never a free”

@SmallerFishGAA A complete joke. The problem here is not the releasing of the ball or the 50 mtrs , the obvious problem is the 2pts. No 2 pointers from any free very simple , end of story. The Bars and Sallins both got done on a terrible rule. Punishment does not fit the crime

The FRC strikes again

I have said it from the very start there should be no 2 pointers from a free especially for not realising the ball , 1 pt is enough of a punishment for any team. I am not from Sallins but that 2 pts has now proven without doubt that this has to change. Sallins deserve better

@SmallerFishGAA I think the free was fair as the Bars player played for a free and over played the ball. But bringing the ball up for that is crazy. A player should be allowed drop the ball where he is and move on. No frees should be 2pts . The art of scoring from play outside the arc yes 2pts

It's hard to believe a huge provincial final was decided on a referees estimate of 50m Why did he randomly stop outside the arc? Is he counting it in his head? 50 meters should have brought him inside the arc It's comical and wouldn't be tolerated in any other sport

Jim Gavin , such a poor choice of candidate by FF, but it brings into question Micheál Martin’s judgement and his leadership of FF as it was so obvious from the start he backed the wrong horse. The 2 candidates we are left with ?? is this the best our great nation has to offer?🙈

Yes Sallins look really good in the “National Electrical Wholesalers” Intermediate Championship , but they looked good in 22 , 23 , and 24 and see what happened. They are hot favourites but this is the most unpredictable championship of them all. Thread lightly lads😳

Hard luck lads you gave it everything you had and there was never more than 2-3pts in it all the way and unfortunately the 2nd Moorefield goal killed us, but you can be all proud of your performance today , you can do no more than your best. We go at it again v Clane next W/end.
