Hi Twitter friends, I just wanted to let those who follow me as a School Outreach Specialist for KET, that I am retiring (yes again) as of March 31. It has been wonderful working for so long at such a great PBS affiliate. I wish all of my education friends much luck!

Sadly due to the large number of mass shootings in the U.S., this kind of mis and disinformation is happening a lot. Do your homework and verify using the tips seen here before sharing that content.

Excellent article for all ages. I have a real problem with the response when I am sad and am told to "Count your blessings! Others have it much worse than you." It is certainly ok to be thankful for your blessings but telling someone else that when they are down is not ok !
